Spaces Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Spaces may collect, why we use it, how we protect it, when we disclose it, and the choices available to you. It is intended to be read with the Spaces Terms of Service.

Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, Spaces may process account information, authentication information, profile information, Space membership and role information, messages and files you choose to send, device and client information, security logs, support tickets, reports, and technical diagnostics.

How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain the Services, authenticate accounts, deliver messages and notifications, operate communities, provide Support, prevent abuse and fraud, secure the platform, investigate reports, troubleshoot problems, improve features, comply with law, and communicate with you about your account or the Services.

Content and private communications

Content is processed to deliver the features you request and to maintain safety and reliability. Access to private or support content should be limited to authorized systems and personnel with a legitimate operational or safety need, subject to applicable law and Spaces policy.

Sharing

Spaces may use vendors and service providers to host infrastructure, deliver email, provide analytics or diagnostics, process payments, secure accounts, and operate other platform functions. Spaces may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the Services, to enforce policies, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable law.

Partner application contact

When a Space owner applies for the Partner Program and explicitly acknowledges the contact disclosure, authorized Founder or Staff reviewers with verified-email permission may view the owner’s verified signup email to contact them about their application and decision. The email is not shown publicly through the application or badge.

Retention

Retention periods depend on the type of information, its purpose, legal requirements, security needs, and user controls. Exact deletion timing may vary by feature and the status of a request. Some records may need to be retained longer for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons; requests can be submitted through Support.

Your choices

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing. You may also control notifications and certain privacy settings in Spaces. Requests can be submitted through the Legal Center or Support.

Security

Spaces uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected vulnerabilities through the official security channel rather than attempting to access another user's information.

Third-party integrations during beta

During the closed beta, unauthorized bots and third-party clients are not permitted. Spaces-provided integrations may process the information needed for the feature you choose, subject to this Policy and the provider's own terms.

Children

Spaces does not knowingly permit use in violation of applicable minimum-age requirements. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of applicable rules, contact Spaces through the Legal Center.

Changes

We may update this Policy as the Services and laws change. The current version and effective date will be posted in the Legal Center.
